Role overview

Our client is a prominent Abu Dhabi government entity recognised for its forward-thinking initiatives and commitment to excellence. Due to continued organisational development, the entity is seeking a Compliance and Regulatory Lawyer to support governance, regulatory alignment and risk oversight.

Key responsibilities

  • Advise on UAE regulatory frameworks, government compliance obligations and policy interpretation
  • Support the development, implementation and monitoring of compliance programmes
  • Draft internal policies, governance frameworks and regulatory guidelines
  • Provide legal support on regulatory inquiries, audits and cross-departmental compliance initiatives
  • Collaborate with senior government stakeholders and external authorities

Candidate profile

  • Common law qualified with 10+ years' PQE
  • Experienced in compliance and regulatory advisory
  • Technically strong with excellent analytical and communication skills
  • Experienced at a recognised law firm or government-related entity
  • Confident managing senior internal and external stakeholders
