Role overview
Our client is a prominent Abu Dhabi government entity recognised for its forward-thinking initiatives and commitment to excellence. Due to continued organisational development, the entity is seeking a Compliance and Regulatory Lawyer to support governance, regulatory alignment and risk oversight.
Key responsibilities
- Advise on UAE regulatory frameworks, government compliance obligations and policy interpretation
- Support the development, implementation and monitoring of compliance programmes
- Draft internal policies, governance frameworks and regulatory guidelines
- Provide legal support on regulatory inquiries, audits and cross-departmental compliance initiatives
- Collaborate with senior government stakeholders and external authorities
Candidate profile
- Common law qualified with 10+ years' PQE
- Experienced in compliance and regulatory advisory
- Technically strong with excellent analytical and communication skills
- Experienced at a recognised law firm or government-related entity
- Confident managing senior internal and external stakeholders
