Role overview
A leading international law firm with a well-established real estate practice in the Middle East is looking to add a senior hire to their Dubai team. With a strong pipeline of mandates across hospitality, mixed-use development, retail and government-backed projects, the firm is seeking an experienced Real Estate Lawyer at Senior Associate level to bolster their offering in the region.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and manage complex real estate transactions including acquisitions, disposals, joint ventures and development agreements across the UAE and wider GCC
- Advise on hospitality and leisure transactions, including hotel management agreements and branded residence structures
- Draft and negotiate sale and purchase agreements, lease documentation and construction-related contracts
- Advise government entities, developers and institutional investors on regulatory and structuring matters
- Contribute to business development and client relationship management as a senior member of the team
- Mentor and supervise junior lawyers across the practice
Candidate profile
- Common law qualified with 10 or more years' PQE
- Experienced in UAE and/or GCC real estate transactions, with a strong track record in private practice
- Technically strong across a range of real estate work including development, investment and hospitality
- From a recognised international law firm, ideally with existing Middle East deal flow
- A confident communicator with the presence and credibility to operate at partner level with clients and colleagues
- Commercially driven with an interest in contributing to the growth of the practice
